Charging devices

Charging device of CDCP is designed for tightening of the top part of quenching chamber, opening of chamber throat and directing of hot coke from bucket of coke bucket car into it, closing of chamber, suction of dust at coke charging.

Charging devices have different design executions depending on design of drive, which in its turn can be electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical.

Interlocking, provided on charging device, provides safety operation of mechanisms.

Discharging devices

Discharging device is designed for discharging of coke from quenching chamber of CDCP on conveyor.

Device is to be installed in the bottom part of chamber and it tights it.

Discharging of quenched coke is provided by opening of sector gates in common with gate of bottom hopper and intermediate gate. On one of troughs coke is forwarded on operating conveyor. Discharging devices can be of two executions depending on capacity.

Modern discharging devices are equipped with rotor feeders of continues action.

Blowing devices

Blowing device is designed to input cooled rare gas to the bottom part of quenching chamber of CDCP and its equal distribution over the section of chamber to meet the coming down hot coke.

It is mounted in the bottom part of quenching chamber.

Depending on the value of coke capacity it can be of two sizes.

Traveling mechanism of platform

Traveling mechanism of platform along with the bucket is designed for fixation of the carriage of hot coke bucket car along axis of the mechanism, gripping of platform along with the bucket with synchronous opening of locking device, transferring of the platform along with the bucket to well of hoister and returning it to the carriage.

Mechanism is mounted on the special foundations of bottom part of CDCP.

Control of the mechanism is automatic.

Traveling mechanism of the platform along with the bucket is supplied set-wise by enlarged units with maximal shop serviceability as per the specification of general arrangement drawing of item.

Spare parts are supplied as per agreement with Purchaser.

Equipment for dust pneumatic transport

Equipment for duct pneumatic transport provides collecting and transportation of coke dust from the dusted objects of CDCP to the utilization place.

Operation of equipment is in exhausting of dry coke dust at the expense of air evacuation, transportation of aeromixture of air with the coke dust with the following separation of the coke dust from the air.

Equipment is provided for the longtime operation at the opened air under the influence of aggressive medium and high temperatures.

Items, included in the equipment set have following designations:

  • - ejector is designed to create and provide vacuum in the lines of pneumatic transport for the dry coke dust. Steam is used as ejector medium;
  • - damper reduces the level of noise and steam condensation while operation of six nozzle ejector;
  • - in the moistening screw device the moistening of the coke dust with water is provided , mixing of the moistened coke dust with water and its transportation to the discharging place. Drive of screw device is electro mechanical;
  • - disc gate overlaps from time to time the flow of coke dust. Drive of gate is electro mechanical;
  • - valve by means of opening provides periodical discharging of coke dust from the collector and dedusting chamber to the dust collecting bunker;
  • - collecting of dry coke dust is provided to the collector;
  • - dedusting chamber is designed to dedust coke dust from the aeromixture of air and coke dust, supplying from the system of pneumatic transport; in the dedusting chamber primary purification is provided. More fine purification of dust is provided in the cyclones;
  • - as a stopper device, overlapping the flow of operating medium, plug cock is applied;
  • - device for output of free-flowing , consisting of disk gate, transport pipeline, expander with tip, valve and drive, designed to form aeromixture of air and coke dust;
  • - linear deformations of transport pipeline are removed by three-element compensator.
